Let’s talk about “sex addiction”
Whatever you call it, uncontrolled sexual behavior can cause distress for the person experiencing it and those around them. Here is my approach when someone thinks they may be addicted to sex.
My story of pain during sex
Pain during sex is exceedingly common. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists estimates that as many as 75 percent of women in the US will experience it at some point in their lives. This is my personal story of struggling with pain during sex.
Should I open my relationship?
There is no quiz you can take to determine what relationship structure is right for you. You have to look at yourself, your partner, and have some conversations that might be tough. But there is also great opportunity for excitement, freedom, and renewed intimacy.
How relationship coaching differs from sex therapy
While therapy helps you heal the past, coaching helps you build the future. My work draws on the Somatica Institute’s experiential approach to help you reconnect with your body, confidence, and desire. We focus on real-world practice, not just insight, so you leave each session with tools you can use right away.
What to expect from your first relationship coaching session
Relationship coaching is about exploring how you relate to desire and connection, and discovering tools to enable healthier relationships.
