Before becoming a full-time coach, I led global teams for mission-driven organizations. Through my roles in research and strategy, what excited me most was helping people strengthen communication, navigate differences, and grow into their own confidence. Coaching is a natural extension of my favorite part of leadership.
I know this work is vulnerable because I have lived it personally. I’m in a long-term nonmonogamous relationship and have experienced the joys, challenges, and personal growth that come with it. My first experience with an open relationship was in high school, and I have always considered myself nonmonogamous at heart. My coaching is grounded in the observations I have made over the years, my strong emotional intelligence, and a belief in questioning society’s view of what we are supposed to do in order to build relationships that feel honest, alive, and true to our values.
I live in Brooklyn with my partner, our blended family, and our cuddly 7-lb dog.
If you’re navigating nonmonogamy—whether you’re just opening up, feeling stuck in painful patterns, or wanting to strengthen your relationship skills—I’m here to help you find confidence, understanding, and excitement in the journey.
About Sarah
I help people navigate the complexities of open relationships with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
I bring 30 years of personal and professional experience and a lifelong dedication to human well-being to help you build skills for honest communication, emotional self-regulation, and relationships that feel aligned with who you truly are.
My training in sex and relationship coaching at the Somatica Institute grounds my work in evidence-based tools and experiential practices that help clients move beyond old patterns and into more embodied interactions. I also trained in the Positive Intelligence method, which strengthens emotional resilience, reduces reactivity, and supports people in showing up with more presence for themselves and their partners.
